The 40 percent larger 2.2 square inch lighted LCD display featured on the 1F83-277 universal non-programmable thermostat by White Rodgers improves low light viewing and has better contrast for easier reading. It is dual powered which means it can be hardwired or run on batteries. Two AA alkaline batteries are included with the thermostat that have a two year life.

Setpoint minimum and maximum temperature limits as well as indefinite setpoint holds are possible with the 1F83-277 thermostat. A one year warranty comes standard.
