With remote sensor capabilities your 9820i Robert shaw thermostat is helpful to you in a variety of ways! The remote indoor sensor works with the sensors usually found in a themostat to average a more accurate control temperature for your room. Indoor sensors are great for larger rooms. The outdoor sensor works the same way, but in conjunction with the outside temperature, helps determine humidity as well as minimize condensation on your windows.

Plus, your EnergyStar approved thermostat will save energy. The Energy Efficient Recovery feature saves your settings in case of a power failure!
